EVERY HUMAN BEING IS A
WORK IN PROGRESS
"Personal development is a human right, a privilege and a joy"
Human beings seem to have an innate desire to make improvements. Both improving themselves and the world around them. Young children are often described as being like sponges, such is their ability to soak up information and learn about their world.
Some people are fortunate to have this learning trait supported and nurtured in their schooling, while for others formal education has the opposite effect resulting in a fixed mindset and a resistance to change.
Individuals bring these experiences, behaviours and habits into adulthood. Our present world, complex and demanding, is changing at a breathtaking rate.
Just to keep up we need to learn new skills and ways of thinking, of communicating and collaborating with others.
Work in Progress is an online personal improvement programme that shares new understandings from the world of neuroscience and psychology so that you can understand better how human brains work in general and your own mind works in particular.
Meeting every week allows for bite-sized learning and space during the week to put into practice before moving on to a new subject.
